I discovered a bug-fix in the Soft-DFS scan and fixed it in both the
development version (1.5.7) and the stable version (1.4.5). The problem
was that in the last test conducted in a certain depth, the scan ignored
all the states beyond the first one and backtracked to the previous depth
immidiately.
The reason for this behaviour was that one if was placed before another
one, rather then in the beginning of its inside scope. Now, it is fixed.
In any case, Stephan Kulow and Markus Oberhumer should take not as to use
the updated FCS 1.4.5 in their applications.
Also included in the 1.5.x branch is another optimization to the hash
implementation, that when rehashing, re-uses the elements of the previous
hash instead of allocating new ones.
Best regards,
