Welcome aboard!
The first thing you should do is probably join the Freecell Solver mailing
list. You can find the mailing-list information here:
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/fc-solve-discuss/
under Group E-mail Addresses.
The second thing you should do is to download the latest autoconfisicated
version of Freecell Solver, see what files it installs and where, and play
with it. You can download it from this URL:
http://vipe.technion.ac.il/~shlomif/freecell-solver/download.html
Notice that it is _not_ the one entitled "latest stable version". The
source code is not different but the standard one was not autotooled yet.
Then, you should get a Freecell implementation. KDE has kpat, and GNOME
has AisleRiot, and there's also PySol. Try to solve some games using
Freecell Solver. Notice that Freecell Solver does not require any
configuration files, it just needs to have the shared library around.
Lastly, you should take a look at the RPM SPEC:
http://vipe.technion.ac.il/~shlomif/freecell-solver/freecell-solver.spec
Are you familiar with RPMs? If not then I should guide you on what the
packages should contain and where to put it. The SPEC is not finalized yet
and for example does not include the board generation programs.
If you need any more information, please let me know.

BTW, I saw your address is a k12 one? Are you a high-school student or
something like that?
