I'm not going to violate the GPL. I was asking Markus, who is the
author and copyright holder of this code, to excempt it from the GPL for
us, so we can distribute it under the public domain. There's nothing
illegal about it. Some companies distribute software under the GPL and if
you pay them some money for it, they give it to you under a properiatary
license (e.g: Qt or FFTW).

I'm not very reluctant that this script will be distributed outside the
package of the other scripts. But I suppose it could be done to solve this
licensing issues for the while.

Yes, since we dump the Microsoft Code, I figured we should also avoid
the fact that the script will use GPLed code.

If people see the COPYING file and read its contents, they may come to
believe that Freecell Solver as a whole is distributed under the GPL,
which is not true. Some sites have already erroneously reported Freecell
Solver to be GPLed software. I don't know why.
