This evening (3/7/02) I got Patsolve integrated into FcPro, and it
appears to be excellent. Sensational, in fact. Still have more to do, and
don't have it running right on other than four freecells as yet, and I need
to do a lot of testing against my past records of "hard hands" for any
solver (these are mainly playing with one or two freecells).
One aspect of it I find most fascinating. A clue that it might work
more like a human than do other solvers. The classic game #1941, widely
considered the most difficult in the M/S 32000. The main FcPro solver
(Woods-Callan-Ettlinger) solves it instantly. Patsolve takes 14 seconds on
my 800 mHz. machine. ----------Adrian Ettlinger
