The Freecell Solver in the CVS now supports recycling an instance. What it
means is that the configuration of the instance, as inputted from the
command line is kept, while the instance can be re-used to solve another
board.
By tweaking the range solver to use this feature, I was able to reach
another record:
It took 22 minutes and 34 seconds to solve the Microsoft 32,000: 1,454
boards per minute and 23 per second. This is astonishing in comparison
to the previous record of 35 minutes, and to the Freecell Solver 2.4.x
record of 70 minutes. Who could have imagined that analyzing the command
line had so much overhead.
