Because sometimes presets are kept in shell scripts where fc-solve or the
range solver are executed:
<<<
#!/bin/sh
freecell-solver-range-parallel-solve 1 32000 1 \
--method soft-dfs -to 0123467
...
>>>
That way you can still use them.
One problem I have with this feature is that it is a possible security
breach. You can specify a file to read, and that file would specify
another file, etc. Not a problem with a user-land application that runs on
a terminal on the client machine. But could be a problem for a server.

My plan is for the presets to affect mainly the methodology of the
solution. I already implemented presets for specifying the type of game
(i.e: "-g simple_simon" or "-g seahaven")
