I can understand the need to skip the freecell designation 'h', but why skip 'i' and 'j', too? I can understand that in some fonts, 'i' looks like '1' and 'j' looks like 'i' (lacks the "hook"). Is that it? Also, in something like Arial (or is it Courier?), one could mistake "l" for a "1". Right now, my program's freecell designation looks like this:
a,b,c,d,e,f,g, k,l,m,...,x,y,z.
After 23 cells, #24 and beyond will be written as merely (24), (25), (26). Same with columns. After 35 columns (1~9, A~Z), it will say something like (36), (37).
So something like column #37 to freecell #45 would be written as "(37)(45)". Of course, if you are trying to solve something with THAT many freecells and columns, there's obviously something very wrong with you...
