Thanks so much for your reply. I have looked at a few websites
offering various versions of FreeCell, but if possible I'd prefer to
just get my original version working normally again. Is there a way
to reinstall just the FreeCell game without affecting any other
programs? Sorry I didn't describe the problem better before. The
FreeCell game functions to a limited degree and then freezes up. The
graphics are altered a couple of ways- The basic playing board has no
squares showing where free cells are or where the Aces are to be
placed at the top of the board, and when cards are moved to the free
cell positions and then moved back below again images of chopped up
pieces of cards remain in the free cell area. When you click to move
a column of cards to an empty spot nothing happens, it's only
possible to put a single card in a blank space. The pop-up asking if
you want to move a single card or a column doesn't appear. Another
problem is that it won't allow you to select a game by number. When I
try it freezes up. It just seems like part of the program is missing.
Also I checked out my Solitaire game and found that it works fine but
every hand is a winner! I played about 10 hands, winning every time,
and that's not normal at all with Solitaire.
Does this give you any clues to what the problem might be? Thanks,
Lynn
