Well, some deals are intractable by the solvers in various configurations and
various limits, but can be solved by different configurations. Freecell
Solver, for example, allow one to set up a random seed for its random-DFS
scan and sometimes certain seeds can solve boards that were intractable with
the more common heuristics.
The only board I'm aware of which was not shown to be solvable or unsolvable,
because no heuristic was able to fully solve it, is Freecell Pro #24795893:

However, in this message Danny Jones reports it to become unsolvable at a
depth of 86 moves, from what his solver sais.
