I have two prioritized-DFS versions of my FreeCell solver. One solves 8x4
deals and the other -- thanks to Bill Raymond getting me hooked -- solves
8x0 deals.
My 8x4 solver is currently active solving deals 1..25,000,000. It should
finish tomorrow morning.
My 8x0 solver has already tackled deals 1..9,999,999. The results are as
follows: 21,748 solvable and 259 Intractable.
Although my solver isn't designed for runtime configuration, I can create
custom versions to match any specific configuration. Given a little time, I
can create a solver to support runtime configuration.
Are you looking for FC solvers to distribute, or are you looking for
volunteers to find solutions? I fit into the second category.
I also have Patsolve-3.0 and FC-Solver on my computer. I believe they are
runtime configurable. I'd be willing to do test runs with them if the
originator's aren't available.
Regards,
Danny A. Jones
PS #1: I also have a BFS version of my solver, but it's much better on 8x0
deals than 8x4 deals.
PS#2: All my solvers generate output akin to that of FcPro26. I wote a
program to convert my multi-card moves into moves compatible with FcPro26's
restrictions -- so that I could replay my solutions using FcPro26.
