I've completed my testing of non-8x4 FreeCell deals. Here's my final
results.
I aborted testing the 32K MS deals in 6x4 mode because it was taking even
longer than 7x3 mode -- which was horrible.
All 32K MS deals were solvable in 9x4 mode. This took the shortest time to
execute for any scenario tested.
All 32K MS deals were solvable in 9x3 mode. I found this interesting and
slightly unexpected. I was also surprised when it ran a little faster than
8x4 mode.
Well, I hope that my results -- these and others reported -- five you enough
information to update your FreeCell FAQ site.
Regards, Danny A Jones
PS: Are you interested in 8x0 results for deals 1..9,999,999?
