One thing I've noticed in my own solving, and to some extent in solutions
I've followed coming out of my solver, or Danny's solver is that a column
tends to be repeated for several moves, either as a source for several
moves, and then maybe as a target. Humans tend to clear freecells
whenever they can, but machine solutions don't seem too concerned
with this. Other peoples' ideas may stimulate me to think of something
else.
