Hi all!
I recently got my act together and placed all the past versions of the
Freecell Solver archives on the BerliOS download page. Since BerliOS have
prevented the download of files with archive extensions (*.gz, *.zip, etc.)
that have been placed on the projects' web sites, it rendered the archives
unusable.
I also revamped the CSS stylesheet a bit and added a current status page:
http://fc-solve.berlios.de/current-status.html
This is meant to clear the confusion with Freecell Solver being dead, due to
the fact a new major version was not released in a few years now.
I'd like to add the following things to the todo list
(
http://fc-solve.berlios.de/to-do.html ):
- Converting to SCons instead of Autoconf/Automake/Libtool.
- Using Card lookups, and state compilations instead of nested loops.
- Using super-compact states (No. of original cards + two bits of the suit of
the different card.)
I'll elaborate about them more on the page.
Another thing I'd like to add there is a note about getting credit for working
on Freecell Solver (for a university project, etc.) and how I can help some
prospective project undertakers.
Regards,
Shlomi Fish
