I have no idea if anyone is interested in solving FreeCell deals
anymore, but it doesn't hurt to try. I'm going to propose a contest.
The first order of business will be to try and eliminate the use of
solvers. Next is a standardized format for solutions. And last, is my
hope that there is honor among the contestants.
First Constraint: All solutions will have a maximum number of moves
allowed.
Second Constraint: All moves must conform to legal moves in MS
FreeCell. This means that supermoves must be represented as several
smaller moves.
Third Constraint: All solutions must be presented using the notation
presented here:
http://www.solitairelaboratory.com/freecell.html
Fourth Constraint: You may enter a shorter solution, but those caught
cheating will be criticized.
Final Constraint: I won't be entering solutions in the contest.
Instead, I'll be looking for new deals to present.
Okay, now let's get our feet wet with the first deal to solve.
Challenge #1: Deal 32003 in 60 moves or less.
