Well, UTF-8 is not fully compatible with ISO-8859-1. Furthermore, your browser
should be able to detect the encoding and character set of the HTML page
(using such mechanisms as the Content-Type: HTTP header, the <meta HTML tag
and the <?xml declaration) and set it up automatically. What is your browser?
In Firefox, it is View -> Charcter Encoding -> Auto-Detect -> Universal.
