Hi !
I'm new to this list, but would like to present an interesting challenge.
The author of World of Solitaire
http://worldofsolitaire.com/ recently
added some interesting solitaire challenges.
Click on Solitaire then Challenge.
The challenging solitaires are: Aces Up, Baker's Game (2 variants), Double
Klondike (2 variants), FreeCell, Klondike (2 variants), Pyramid (4
variants), Seahaven Towers, Tri Peaks (4 variants) and Triple Klondike (2
variants)
I hold the minimal records for Klondike, by shamelessly using the optimal
solver from
https://github.com/ShootMe/Klondike-Solver, and wrote optimal
solvers for Pyramid and Aces Up.
Did anybody try to programmatically solve Double Klondike and Triple
Klondike ?
Double Klondike's current records require more than 230 moves, and Triple
Klondike's more than 300 !
I'd like to see how it compares to optimal play.
Kind regards,
Jean-Charles Meyrignac
